Granny's gone and done it again

The guy is the keynote speaker every day and leading several workshops. I'll have lots of chances.

When we were moving into our room last night there was this noisy bunch of folks in a meeting room cutting up and having fun. When we got settled we pipped are heads in and I said "is this a private party??" Noooooooo they all hollered and dealt us in.

WELL turns out those are higher up board members all in charge of different aspects of the conference.

Then at supper I accidentally sat at a table full of event staff: the worship leader, hospitality coordinators, workshop presenter, etc. We just keep stumbling into the right wrong places!

we just had coffee and pie with the board members. They want to play cards again, but I don't think I can stay up that late tonight.

thats awesome Camp ! Go play, you might not get another chance !

Sounds like you are having a good time, camping!

Granny, remember the good old days when cars didn't need to be registered and drivers didn't need a license?

I don't

. sometimes think I was born in the wrong generation.

hahaa NO. But I do remember when I went for my driving test at 17/18 yrs. and It came time to parallel park . I looked at the space , looked at him and said, I dont know how. Didnt even try. He said, OK and gave me my license.

Parallel parking is not on the test here. You do have to back up straight along a curb for 50 ft or so, and if you hit the curb, you fail. It's and easy thing to do if you know how. I worked in San Francisco for a while so had to be good at parallel parking.

I would fail that test too. I am still practicing that in my driveway and on my lawnmower. Not sure how I was the only one out of all of us to get a license . No driving test probably.

Trick to backing up is to turn your shoulders and head to the back, so you can look out the rear window, one hand on the wheel. Then turning the wheel is automatic. The few times i tried to back up with a trailer was very sad.

Granny, is CB going to school tomorrow?

Hi Mare! Those are adorable kitty pics! Ming won't let Henry snuggle. He tries and she gets mad at him. I think it's because he bear hugs and body slams her too much... she's just too tiny, and no fangs to give him warning nips. He's not mean, but her message doesn't get through and she has to get really POed to make him stop. I wish i had a pic of them cuddling.
