Will have to go downstairs soon and be ready with the wet/dry vac.

update on the drain saga, can flush toilets and do dishes take a shower BUT doing laundry and it backs up again. HURTS MY HEAD

Debris, and lint stuck in your laundry p-trap and just beyond into the 2" piping.

well evidently I actually have to lines that share the same drain BUT only part of the way.

Is it the house washing machine ? You can make it drain outside maybe

except the laundry is on the main floor. and no water up here other then what is supposed to be

Twist this is why I eventually just reverted into draining into a rain barrel.

Another option that takes some babysitting is get a pool filter between your washing machine drain and the actual drain. Use some nylon stockings. (You’ll need to replace this every so often)

I would need a very long line and don't want to take a chance on water coming up under the basement floor. I have one spot that does that already.

Snake laundry drain from where it exits your machine, to where it enters the 2"pipe
