I'm game

well I need to head out to menards for a crow/pry bar and a 2 or 3 pound mallet so I can pry apart some of the 36 pound cement blocks I glued together years ago. as the wall is starting to fall in. Got the metal fence all removed the other day.

Bruce, Have you ever seen Egyptian fayomies ? they remind me of the campines also can be flighty but they have IMO THE prettyist lil chicks out of all chicken chicks
Yep I've seen pictures and you are right about the similarity:
"This breed of chicken has been around since the pharaohs ruled the land and closely related to the Campine."

@bruceha2000 Do you know what your water is like ? Hard/soft...
On the harder side but not too hard. Not near as hard as at our old house though.

are they too far along to tuck around my lorp? Or could be ok?
I don't see why it would matter as long as she is going to stick to the nest. Seems like they have some "switches" that go on at the right time. If you put the eggs under her my GUESS is she'll be the happiest little hen in about a week.
