Granny's gone and done it again

No water moccasins. A baby turtle did show up in the pond once.
I used to sneek off w/ my sister and go swimming in a hidden pond. We kept hearing plop plop... Found out it was snakes and decided to find a new spot !

I was outside working on the run. Luckily it's mostly in the shade. But by the time I got a skirt on part of one side and one strip of fencing on top, I was bathed in sweat. Going to have to put chicken wire along the outside of the top part of the hoop coop since it's much easier for critters to get up there with the run to climb. Possums won't rip through and coons can't fit through the welded wire underneath . I let the Tolbunts out in the run to enjoy some freedom. But I covered it with a tarp so no danged hawks would get in. I need some airplane cable to lash the fencing in place on top. Hubby just ordered it.
The chickens have not figured out how to get in the new nest box yet, but I can put eggs in there until I come back with a basket.

I gave her a proper burial. First time I ever did that. I planted her right next to my tomato plant ! LOL I will have to fish him out and put him next to her .
Then they can make tomatoes together instead of fishlettes.
