Granny's gone and done it again

I got some mowing done so I can put up some electric fence and let the yearlings do some grazing/mowing for me.
Filled all the chicken waterers and shut the window in the feed room for the second time.
Then picked about 1/3 of the box on my truck full of hens bane, just from the tit. There were a few so big I ended up just cutting them close to the ground.
Didn't get the herd poured as NONE of them were interested in coming into the tit OR Rod/Robert weren't paying attention when they did .

stalking her how ?

parking at the corner and then watch for her to come out. following her around town when she was running errands, AND she has a witness , Lois was riding with her.

theres more to this story then your telling. Why is he doing that ?

Rod trying to kill your chicks Twist ?

not sure what he is trying to do. BUT I can tell you we/I am not getting the 6 dozen eggs a day I did for the week I took care of them.

HE thinks creating a "lake/mud hole" in the run is good enough for the hens.

Blue, wanna share some stuff about you ?

Humm. DH and I have been married 10 years and have been raising 2 of my grandkids for 8 years, an 18-yo girl and 13-yo boy. We have 2 Shelties, a 10-yo female (Gracie, my goofball) and about a 2-yo we got for The Kid. For a while we weren't sure Sammy was going to work out bc The Kid was not really invested in him, and the dog was in serious need of training and good, consistent handling. I did basic training for a community college in another state for about 20 years but can now do it only in an advisory capacity - and a 13-yo Kid with ADHD doesn't want to be "advised," lol! But the dog is making progress and The Kid has decided he likes him, so all is turning out well. I grew up in a big city and always wanted horses. I got them at one point in my life but a divorce happened. Now I live in MO, Tick Central, USA, and I LOATHE ticks. Also my health and budget say No Horses. But chickens eat ticks and lay eggs, so ... chickens happened. And I can afford lots more chickens than horses, so yay!

We're in our mid-60's or thereabouts, live at the end of a gravel road with no near neighbors, and enjoy a rich church life. Covid-19 didn't affect us as much as it might have as we're already kind of "home-bodies" and don't get out much. BYC has been my social outlet for quite a while. I guess we're pretty boring! 😆
