Not sure if it's hairball related. I have never seen a hairball puked up, it's always cat food.

Check with the vet. Our cat was puking a lot and it turns out she has intestinal leukemia, a form of lymphoma. He put her on a special diet and prednisone for a while to reduce the inflammation in her gut so she can keep food down. She had lost nearly 4 lb. She's doing much better now.

Mine is very chubby, I don't think that's the issue. My cats eat weird stuff. Like plastic.
