Stopped in to say "Hi" granny & everyone. Feeling terrible so not sticking around. Just didn't want you to worry granny with me being MIA the past couple days.

for everyone minus the ucky cold germs I'm carrying. I thought I had made it through all this garbage that's been going on since Fall, but I guess not

Can't take too much credit, I just followed a recipe that DH picked out. It's got mild green chilis and red pepper flakes mixed in, and a little nutmeg which surprised me. It's the pico de gallo on top that makes it so pretty, and I bought that premade too.

sorry never got on, on Sat busy with grocery stores and doing the chicken and dumpling very good . Feed 3 of up last night send enough home with Robert for 2 meals and still have a bunch left hear. Total cost under $5.00 as the chicken was "free" a miss sexed rooster that then hid in freezer camp for well over a year.

Then got on this am and no sooner had I posted then brother called and off to tank until about 20 minutes ago.

Eggtopsied. 2 eggs were mouldy, stinky dead, and the other two were just slimy dead. Too decomposed to identify a cause of death... They had the cutest multicoloured webs.

I don't need any more chickens, or I'd say YAS.

Coop rebuild in spring has me scrambling to find more housing... Might slap together a plywood 8 x 8 box to hold them over. More chickens (and ducks, sadly, so I might have to hold off on acquiring webbies) would just complicate the problem.
