Still resting. I just made some gorgeous cheese dip. In a little while I'm going to fix the doors on the small coop so I can separate the CCL and EE roo.



Edit: I was hoping to get video of them flying. They didn't fly til I got to the bridge and they wanted to catch up.

Pro, why is it so hard to get muscovy ducklings in CA?  I have seen older ones at my feed store, but think they are from a local person.  Are they restricted or something?  Does anyone know?

I had 3 pekins one I loved to death and felt for her so I got her some play mates. One of those went in the oven Then they were so messy. I found a farm with a big pond and they went there to live.

Can't take too much credit, I just followed a recipe that DH picked out. It's got mild green chilis and red pepper flakes mixed in, and a little nutmeg which surprised me. It's the pico de gallo on top that makes it so pretty, and I bought that premade too.

Stopped in to say "Hi" granny & everyone. Feeling terrible so not sticking around. Just didn't want you to worry granny with me being MIA the past couple days. for everyone minus the ucky cold germs I'm carrying. I thought I had made it through all this garbage that's been going on since Fall, but I guess not
