Dh blood pressure has been high for 24 hrs. He has never had high bp. 193/93.

Hope it goes down today.

stress, infection and pain will all raise it. Is his leg any better ? Many hugs to you Jane, Its time for them to get him better and out of that place .

Granny maybe you'll be blessed with an "impromptu nap" later. That always helps me.

I dont like to nap. My body dont know what a short power nap is. Its usually 4-5 hrs. then cant sleep at night. LOL I probably will though.

I'm the same way, Granny, but if I'm behind on sleep and have been working overtime, then I go take a nap until I wake up, and then I'm usually, "not-tired" for the rest of the week.

sun shining again today. Wish I felt good. nothing to do except cook and I am hurting too bad for that. too bad for anything. All I do is complain. Tired of hearing myself.
Thinking of Whites this morning, I hope his surgery is going well. If anyone hears maybe they can let me know ? Probably wont hear for a while unless he asked a family member to update us.

My blood pressure goes up just driving past the hospital. Hoping it's temporary for your DH and that you can both go home soon.

Not enough sleep here either... been months. Think I am numb to it, but it makes my ears ring like crazy. Maybe take half of one of those pills to give you a break from the pain. Might help stop the inflammation cycle too. Thinking of Whites as well, this morning. Thankful that he left a message himself so not to just disappear into the ether. I've never had surgery... they'd have to dope me up to keep me on the gurney, because I'd be crawling out of there... it's a terrifying thought. CB's at school today I hope. That should give you a break too... little peace and quiet goes a long way. Hubs tool the day off, so we are going to run errands this morning. He can drive and I can doze! Good deal!
