Citide 9MM 1911 hand gun.
This is the gun Robert intends to buy. He already has a Savage 22LR.
Good morning, 4 hrs sleep and Im crabby.
Any way you can convince him, a glock or any other pistol will do the same job, but not cost nearly as much? That has to be a special edition, hence the higher price tag. He sure does have an eye for nice looking guns.

my shoulders are bad--looking for a lightweight with little recoil

My Walthers are fairly lightweight and that's the reason I love them so much, compared to the 1911. Besides, I remember mom having a Walther in her dresser as I was growing up, so went out and tested a few. Ended up buying all 3 models. Did ya know, Israeli police only carry .22 and .380 sidearms? A .22 put in the right spot can do an awful lot of damage just from bouncing around inside the target. Boing?

BTW, here's my " The mother-in-law's tongue" (sansevieria trifasciata) one year after receiving a single plant. Already repotted it once.. May have to break it into more parts so I can have more of them on the deck.

BTW, some time back I posted a pic of the fruit of the 'pine cone lily' Bruce said it looked like a pine cone and I told him he was 'warm'. No one else tried. Pine cone lilies are everywhere in Hawaii and the natives use the juice of the fruit to wash and condition their hair. Also, the juice is great as a skin lotion, straight from the fruit. Paul Mitchell really made a heap of dough from adding it to his shampoos. It's called awapuhi in Hawaiian.
