I think you just get a terra cotta pot and break a piece off for the "door'. use the drain catcher for a roof. There’s a small toad living in my front flower bed. It hops out when I water. I want to make a little home for it.
You still need that?I bet thats the cactus wood I needed for the shrimp. Ummm, cholla wood
The inner composite pot is covered by a plastic pot to keep it from drying out and topped with a piece of tin for a bit of shade. They can get out from under and dig under some pavers that are near that are kept wet also.I think she's setting up an auto-bake oven for them.
That's why I don't have cactus.this is cholla cactus..
Right-o! One I posted was a saguaro cactus.. Mom brought home a barrel cactus on one of our trips to Phoenix when I was young.. One day she backed into it... Dad had to pull all the needles out of her buttinski with pliars.. ya shoulda heard her yelping!
They are so cute! I have a pottery toad that my grandparents had. It was the one thing of theirs I loved most as a child. There’s a small toad living in my front flower bed. It hops out when I water. I want to make a little home for it.
