Granny's gone and done it again

I did a lot of watering today... flowers, cucumbers, beans, frogs, squash.

Yes, I keep a spot wet for a pair of Pacific tree frogs under a large overturned pot. Under the pot, they have a little bowl of water. It works great because all the bugs are drawn to the moisture and the froggies eat good.

Pictures to follow... have to switch to my phone, which is why it takes me so long...
We have a toad and several blue tailed skinks that come to our door to eat the bugs that gather there every night.

down to 79 outside, think I am going to sit on the deck for a bit

Good night all, Sweet Dreams, Fuzzes (warm for granny) prayers.

I hope its good news for you in the am there granny.

Cap hope the goats improve greatly.
Hope it's not too painful for you tomorrow, Twist.

All my years in CA, I have never seen one of these. It has quite the ugly mug.

Had to look it up. Camping will know what it is. A bullfrog! Over the years I have heard them in the neighbor's little concrete pond, but never seen them. I thought it was kind of cool. Oh boy!! Another froggie friend to join the treefrogs! Mugsey has already made herself at home.

But then I did a little more reading about bullfrogs. They are not native to CA and incredibly invasive... responsible for threatening many of our native species. They put those big mouths to good use and eat whatever will fit in... including other frogs!! :barnie

Mugsey is now in a plastic tote in the garage, awaiting her fate.
But what should I do?
