well um, ermmmmmmmmmm... He was advertising the last of his chicks.. and I asked if he had any EE's left.. He said yes 5. He sold them to me as a group only.. 5 chicks $25. BUT... two of them look just like the Beifelders I got from him previously.. Hmmmmmmmmm.

does that make 20 now ir do you just stop counting after 20?

Um, so Henri and SP, Charlie and HB, Bruiser and his 3, make 8... and 11 in the brooder.. ONLY 19.. nice roundy number, until or unless SP decides to sit her eggses.

If I had to type Caps gone and done it again every time you hatch a chick I would be 24/7 on here ! BTW, isnt it time to stop for winter ?

I think Im jealous . I want to hatch some badly. Going to the swap tomorrow is a mistake for me. I know its gonna hurt but I need to get my chick fix

BTW, got to see my first lavender orphingtons, silver laced wyandottes, speckled sussex, and Silkies ever when I went to pick up the chicks.. Oh, and he also has a pair of guineas in with each breed to keep snakes at bay. They were all sooooooooo pretty. He's trying to get down to only 7 breeds.

He told me that his Silver laced Wy Roo is a mean SOB! Are they all like that?

Almost. The big swap is in about a month. Need chicks for that.

I never had a problem with Wyandotte roosters.

Truck unloaded, then loaded with equipment for the sale. It's easier to catch the chickens after dark. Misty almost made it back to the goat house, but she got stuck in a corner so I carried her. Almost fell , there is a lot of debris out there and branches hanging down.
I am hoping it won't rain until afternoon tomorrow. Need to sell some critters.
