Granny's gone and done it again

Ok, so the next time I pop over to Wally World I'll pick up a fresh bag and keep it in the fridge instead of the freezer.. and yeah, mine don't seem to like cabbage much either. Gonna try some romaine on them next.
My big girl mob eats dried alfalfa leaves off a 5 year old bale. Shows how desperate they are for green. I have a tiny patch of grass growing where I change a water dish. They keep that mowed to the nubbins.

I dont know if I should tell this or not. So I will. LOL Remember me saying we had to walk through tall weeds yesterday ? Those pokey weed seeds, I dont know what their called but one of them worked its way up my pant leg and found a home in my Hoo hoo. I was about in tears this am. Finally got it out but not w/o some cussing and hair pulling ! LOLOL Reminder to self. Buy some dang drawers !

Ha, my lil ones have gotten the hang of meal worms.. sprinkled a hand full in the brooder this morning and it looked like a 3 ring circus... Which reminds me:

We were having an 'exercise' once on base where all the units had to pack everything up and send it to the line where it would supposedly get loaded on to planes for transport to forward operating locations. I had cross trained into logistics and was in the Command control center. My boss, who convinced me to cross train into logistics was there. I made the comment that it looked like a 3 ringed circus. He said "Never refer to it as a 3 ringed circus.. you can call it 'the activity under the big top', but not a circus". He had a great sense of humor.

I threw some bird seed out there because the birds were not cleaning it up, and it got wet in the rain... so instead of refilling the one bird feeder I started throwing some out in the coop.. well it rained and it's sprouting.. millet, etc.. of course they cleaned up the sunflower seeds before it rained.
