My big girl mob eats dried alfalfa leaves off a 5 year old bale. Shows how desperate they are for green. I have a tiny patch of grass growing where I change a water dish. They keep that mowed to the nubbins.Ok, so the next time I pop over to Wally World I'll pick up a fresh bag and keep it in the fridge instead of the freezer.. and yeah, mine don't seem to like cabbage much either. Gonna try some romaine on them next.
I threw some bird seed out there because the birds were not cleaning it up, and it got wet in the rain... so instead of refilling the one bird feeder I started throwing some out in the coop.. well it rained and it's sprouting.. millet, etc.. of course they cleaned up the sunflower seeds before it rained. My big girl mob eats dried alfalfa leaves off a 5 year old bale.
