Say, if those are tree frogs why they living under a pot ?
Because I keep it wet for them. Otherwise they'd be hiding underground somewhere.

They were both there on top when I took the plastic cover pot off.
They are getting used to me. Didn't try to get away when I put them in their swimming pot. Plenty of water there, but the ground was really dry. Gave it a good soak.

A little toad about half the size of my fist used to park under a light in my front yard in NM years ago, catching mosquitos, moths and June bugs on a sidewalk between the wall of the house and some tall juniper bushes. He'd get quite fat and full and I was able to go out and gently rub his head between his eyes. He got so he quite enjoyed it and would tip his head from one side to the other, closing first one eye, then the other, like a dog, going, "Aaaahhh, nice, a little more to the left, please." There were other toads out there as well but they would hop away, this was the only one I actually had a rapport with. That's my good news report for tonight, Granny! 😊
