Granny's gone and done it again

Hmm. I have never seen fried rice done like that, looks yummeh!
Yup, recipe for the rice please? 😘😉

I like big chunks of egg. Ok I’ll try a recipe.

So you could use leftover rice, but I didn’t have any so I made fresh.

Pour oil in a skillet and turn way up. Pat the rice into a sort of even layer (see previous pic). I put a good bit of minced garlic, dried parsley, powdered ginger, and black pepper. No salt because I did a few dashes of soy sauce. Dropped the eggs in and covered for a few minutes. When the eggs turned white like that I gently stirred, but more like a folding motion. Some yolks busted, some didn’t. You don’t want the rice to burn, but you want it to get a brown crisp like a hashbrown. I find stirring too much makes it gummy slop. So cover and wait a few more minutes. If you think it’s too brown, turn the heat down. If it’s not browning, either turn the heat up or leave it longer between turns. Repeat that until there aren’t any (or many) white bits left.

only rule here. You cook something that sounds good and someone asks you gotta post the recipe
So easy... 2 cans tuna, 1 can mushroom soups, 1/2 can milk, 1 jar shrooms, 1 can peas... heat and add boiled noodles.. top with FF onions, bake for about 20 minutes in 350 degree oven.. take out and eat till ya bust!

that sounds good. I never used extra shrooms or dried onions but I will next time.
