she's been doctoring as well, Evidently her heel is rising up and she's getting "things" on the ball of her foot from her heel being higher then the toes/ball part.

swollen from spurs it sounds like. I have those . They hurt when you first start walking of the day then swell and feel some better because they are cushioned.
