real Lions Wishing ? We have mountain lions here. I seen one. I doubt a yak would be able to defend itself. Need a pack of dogs for that.

How do you know what she is feeding ? What did I miss ? well thats what I said anyway no hump because of the heatFat animals die in CA heat. Yaks would not need much to get through a mild-ish winter either. She is feeding alfalfa. That's not cheap here. Maybe they aren't getting the good salt licks that Twist uses.
Yaks have horns and hooves and a lot of weight to throw around!real Lions Wishing ? We have mountain lions here. I seen one. I doubt a yak would be able to defend itself. Need a pack of dogs for that.
Stiffy is still up near the path. The hawk did return for it yesterday, but seems to be having trouble eating that tough old squirrel. We left it again and hubs JUST walked out here and saw the hawk was back again today.Granny, you remember I told you a hawk had a squirrel yesterday? Another hawk was up near the same tree and when I went to look, big dead squirrel was laying in the middle of the path. I left it there hoping the hawk will come back for it. Last I checked, it's still there. Gonna call him Stiffy... because Rigor Mortis is too formal.
Sure, they can buck too I bet! And gore it to death.Hi Cap ! they do but can they throw it off their back? Maybe I watched too many nat-geo shows. LOL
OMG Wishing, LOLOL Dont it stink by now ?Stiffy is still up near the path. The hawk did return for it yesterday, but seems to be having trouble eating that tough old squirrel. We left it again and hubs JUST walked out here and saw the hawk was back again today.
It's also not the hawk I thought, not Cooper's. It's a Red Shouldered hawk. Bit beefier than the Cooper's. Still can't get off the ground with poor Stiffy. Much cooler this morning, so the hawk won't be fighting off the hornets so much. Day 3... might have to change Stiffy's name to Mushy or something. Going to be getting ripe soon. Hope the hawk eats faster today!
We have been married since 1978. They are both our sons. What they expect is not relevant. Hubby wants a clean house and this is his reason to get it. Actually, I have been meaning to do some cleaning weekly on Mondays. To keep him happy.Cap, how long have you and your DH been married ? These are your sons too right ? The reason I ask is because surely growing up w/ you they know you dont like to clean house and dont expect it ?
