real Lions Wishing ? We have mountain lions here. I seen one. I doubt a yak would be able to defend itself. Need a pack of dogs for that.

Mountains lions. African lion running loose would be a huge cause for concern! People run llamas with their sheep. They will go after the lions. Ostriches too, and maybe emus can fend them off. Wouldn't that be fun to have yaks and ostriches running around the farm!

How do you know what she is feeding ? What did I miss ? well thats what I said anyway no hump because of the heat

Last pic with the mama and calf... feed is green. Out here that means either Timothy hay or alfalfa. That's alfalfa... can tell by the thickness of the stems and how green it is. We fed it to the TB horses for years. I know it well.

After all Nancy did for me yesterday I was bold enough to ask her if she minded doing the dishes while she was here. She did them for me. I am a little ashamed about it.
