I was outside checking the chickens and two pens had the doors hanging open and one had the door shut but not latched. And the food for them was outside on the ground. Sigh.

I might need a mixed drink tonight. Made tacos for supper, 2 boxes of them. None left.
My husband and son made a new rack to hold the free wood I get. I think he used all the 2x4x8s I had left. Like 8 of them! But that will not stop me from building the coop I am working on. But he did use most of the quarter to half sized sheets of plywood. I might need to buy more from the guy I know that sells them.

And the rooster that was living in the barn because he had been picked on had apparently escaped because he is gone. Hubby saw the bird this morning but forgot to tell me. It could be anywhere by now.

I think natural food is much better for you. I was never a fan of oleo. Butter is better.

The boys decided to feed the goats early instead of later. I was worried they might have fed them too much but the oldest one said no.
