I promised DH I'd make cornbread tomorrow. He likes it with buttermilk. And I promised GirlChild I'd make chili for dinner. Actually, I'll have The Kid make the chili, he needs the practice.

I like it w/ buttermilk. Thats the only thing I know of I will use buttermilk with. I never use it but I would if I had some.

Yes. Smoked, fully cooked. I just slice and heat it in a pan.
That flavor might be a little spicy for you... it's pretty garlicy.
Chicken apple you might like.
