Covid is going way up and he says the only way is mandatory lock down enforced by the police. But they have the vaccine ready but only certain people will get it first. Health care workers, elderly high risk.

Yeah dogs have messed my shoulders up. Too many times of me not paying attention and they want to run after something. Just walking the 7 month old is tiring. She hasn’t learned not to just stay by side. And if we go by barkers I have to correct her to be calm. Another dog who’s socializing went out the window with COVID.

See if you can find The Koehler Method of Dog Training by... um ... I think it's Richard Koehler. Some of his training has gone out of favor because it seems a little severe, but if you use a properly-fitted prong collar instead of a choke, it works great. Will have your dogs walking on a slack line in MINUTES. Pm me for more info if you want.

I think I like your thinking! If God had intended us to run marathons, He wouldn't have created horses.

My husband is a mess after training for 2 years for marathons. Of course he started at age 62

I have looked into a service dog training for veterans here. If he could find a strong man that had pstd he would be great but COVID has shut that down.

did you know they never neuter police dogs? Neutering is bad for their health. Bones and tendons. Get weak. More tears in the ligaments and tendons. Apparently testosterone is very important.
I wouldn’t want him in bite work. I don’t like teaching dogs to bite humans. I have seen to many out of control police dogs.

No, I didnt know that about neutering . There has to be the perfect fit for him out there but you need help finding it. I have a friend who transports dogs and works close w/ therapy dogs. I can ask her about it if you want me to?

I think if everyone would mask and social distance, lockdown would not be necessary. But people won't.

I have that book. Pretty harsh methods. Pwds don’t respond well to punishment or repetions. Newer methods are now in vogue.
We use a pinch on him , I have always used one on dogs that are too rambunctious but my current dog is so soft I use a martingale.
