The ground is still moist from the little bit we got Sunday. So happy it's finally here. Everyone has been waiting. The air and trees will finally be clean!

I love peacocks. I wish I had a pair but Im not outside enough to really enjoy them. If a predator went after those I would just die.

I got thumped in the gut by a horse once when my parents were visiting. Curled me up in a little ball and I was hollering Help, help. Our neighbors had peafowls and they started yelling Help, help, and that's what my parents heard so nobody came out to help me. I finally caught my breath and was able crawl into the house. I was awful mad at those dang birds for a while, but I got over it.
