I mean, it's not the best lot ever but the first one is beautiful! There's something really exciting about being the first person to look inside a geode in thousands, to sometimes millions of years.

My radiator is plastic. LOL

Everything is plastic now. At least you know now you have to keep it topped off.

I'm also going to soak it in iron out to get some of the iron stains off of the crystals.

What are you soaking it in?

Really cool. I love rocks. I have seen people cut thin slices of geode and make ornaments out of the pretty rings.

It's literally called "Iron Out" I've never used it before but it was recommended to me by some other rock hounds. lol

Tiny oco geodes are great for jewelry pieces! They're little bitty but often gorgeous inside!

It was topped off before it busted Wishing . It the oil I cant figure out ! Where did 4 qts go? It wasnt smoking , no valves tapping, nada
