Granny's gone and done it again

I sorta made scratch dressing but not really. I cut up celery and onions and Robert crumbled sausage for me. I boiled the veggies in 4 1/2 c. water then added it to 3 box mixes. LOL Its good I used real butter too .
Stir before you put the dough in. Put the lid on. Lock down for 5 minutes!
yummy!

Yeah, I do it the easy way. With the small kitchen, it is better to set myself up by the computer. If I was to dip and pluck them, it would be a bit troublesome in this small apartment.
I wasnt clear, Im sorry. The feet, how do you prepare them to cook?

The hardest part is culling babies. I have done that a lot it seems. extra roosters mostly but some lame or FTT chicks. I cup them in my hand til they go to sleep then slip my limb trimmers under my hand. It goes fast that way.
culling babies is the worst.

You wash them, before you freeze them. Cook it all up. No fuss, no mess.

Im the only one that seems to want one here.
We always did when Granny was alive - DH's mom. It was important to her. It's just all gotten so commercialized now. Or maybe I've gotten cynical, idk. The stores start in before Halloween, and you get kind of jaded, ya know? I guess, for me, it's kind of lost it's magic. At least all the tinsel and glitter has. We like to remember what it's supposed to be all about. That's what we focus on, and we keep it simple.
