Hi guys. Got busy yesterday catching up with an old friend who contacted me out of the clear blue. Nice surprise right before Christmas as I hadn't heard from her in decades.

Today, we are still yacking but I'm geared up to bake cookies and by golly I'm going to get it done!

Gray weather here. It's the one thing I hate about winter. I can tolerate snow much better than unrelenting gray skies and brown grass/trees/shrubbery, etc. At least with snow you get some sun and don't feel like I have to sit on the sofa and pass the bottle of vitamin D back and forth with my husband.

On the bright side, only 4 months till spring! I just finished reading that Egyptian Fayoumis don't like cold weather. Somebody didn't tell my birds that. It's 27 degrees outside here and they are out scratching around in the run. No worries. Cold weather? No problem.

Not feeling so great myself and it might get way worse. Need a PA to get my pain meds and I only have enough for tomorrow. PA take a couple days.

I just have to check in with my doctor every three months and see if I have enough to cover my pain and not having any problems. And I can do it over the phone! Can't beat that!

My right arm. Not my left. Can't explain it. Think it's originating from my neck. Pain, almost a paralysis. Starting from the shoulder blade, maybe? Going down the arm to the thumb and fingers. Real sudden onset. This is the arm/hand I use to support myself on my cane. This means I am really laid up. Just taking Tylenol. And layibg around "like a roach," as my Gma used to say, lol.
