They have done enough ! There not going to do anything that Im not already doing.

My right arm. Not my left. Can't explain it. Think it's originating from my neck. Pain, almost a paralysis. Starting from the shoulder blade, maybe? Going down the arm to the thumb and fingers. Real sudden onset. This is the arm/hand I use to support myself on my cane. This means I am really laid up. Just taking Tylenol. And layibg around "like a roach," as my Gma used to say, lol.

Yes, good ins, thx. Already had the MRI. Was scheduled to see neurosurgeon yesterday but canceled bc it was in county now declared "extreme." Will see him Fri., Jan. 8 in a city 2 hr away instead.

After reading the article I started doing some research. My worst disc degeneration in my neck is around C1-2 and 3 and then C 6-7. I've been having problems lately with numbness when I lie down in the ring and little fingers of both hands but worse in my left hand. SO I traced that dermatome using pictures I found here:

You guessed it. #8 dermatome which originates between C6 and C7.

So my numbness isn't being caused from carpal tunnel syndrome or by compression in the elbow but in my neck at that pesky C7 where the disc is more degenerated.

I trust my doctor but I also trust my own ability to do research. I've been living with this body for almost 68 years and know it better than anyone. I also know that I sure don't want to go trippin down that old surgery lane either.

Heart dr just called. Said I had greater then 50% blockage in my left leg.
