I gotta shower and get ready.
I am volunteering from 9 to noon today at the school book fair.
I love the cute kids that bing in a quarter and try to by the 20.00 book.
They are clueless when it comes to money.
And shame on the parents for only sending them with a quarter...nothing is that cheap at the school.

sorry Kiki, not all parents can afford to send money with their kids for books (so no shame there). I've been to many school book sales myself & usually the books are pretty pricey. My children & grandchildren have always had books to read, just not ones bought at a school bookfair. We must all try to remember to thank God for the blessings we do have, because there are many people that just cant afford that luxury. (All spoke in a friendly tone) My kids usually got a dollar, cuz that's all we could afford. They would purchase a pencil, eraser or bookmark & were thrilled to be able to get that

DH sent DD to school with $20 and she got mostly erasers and little toys. He was mad.

I'm headed out to do chores & check on broody momma. Day 20, probably will have chicks under her today. Candled day 18 & 1 of the 3 eggs was drawing down. My broody usually hatch day 20, some even day 19. Hope everyone has a great day. Busy day ahead & gd basketball game this evening.
