not sure about the field trails, BUT I know they make great hunters and even better family members. I refuse to sell any one who plans in putting them out in a kennel most of the time.

Good for you. Dogs need to be under foot, IMO. I used to sleep with mine until I moved into tick country. I miss having a dog on my feet at night.

Not my style. I was humiliated and in shock. Plus I really liked her!

I let one of mine sleep w/ me. Frosty does. Well, I dont really "LET" her, she pretty much does it no matter what I say. LOL SHe curls up against my butt and keeps it warm.
