She could have been pulling your chain as well. Teasing you since you were "sensitive" .

She didn't know I was sensitive at that point. She just thought it was ugly. My hair is wavy and fluffy. Not quite like anything she had ever seen before. She was accustomed to straight, smooth, shiny hair. She never quite got used to it. But it's all good.
