see and I would use a smidge less milk to make sure it was nice and thick and held its shape when serving.

Also put a layer of cling film over the pudding after getting it into the shell. Then you don't have that layer of pudding leather.

Don't confuse the poor girl. She can do that next time. Keep it simple for her first time!
