Granny's gone and done it again

I know I’m at risk... I was just saying she was more at risk than I since she was the one around the positive case. She was a tag-along when my sis and I went to the Falls. We were outside, and in masks everywhere except the car... so... yeah. We’re still at risk. The current game plan is to bunker down at home for a little bit. Only reason I even got out today is I scheduled something for today and wasn’t aware I was exposed until right before I left. But I wore a mask, and didn’t get close to anyone.
Do you have a Covid test site near by, CVS or Walgreen Pharmacy? Local county Covid test sight? If so give a doctor a call and get tested, as my family has had to do that 4 times already; not including the RN who works around this mess.

We have a CVS. But I figured it’s best to wait 5 days or so for the incubation period to pass so that we get accurate results.

Hubby says I am sad, aka pitiful because I have not sent my cards out. He doesn't know I kept wanting to find the seeds to put in them. :(
Tell your husband that a postal worker said, DO NOT MAIL this year for Christmas, wait till after the New Year, as it is beyond crazy for letter mail and packages. I still don't know how we (USPS) are going to dig out of this anytime soon. It's not because we didn't work 80 hours a week and try, that's for sure.

It's a choice I guess, but the longest my RN daughter has waited was 2 days. She was positive in April and has been negative too many times to count.

Contact your doctor and or your local heath department and get tested. The sooner the better.

Personally I would be taking a boat load of elderberry, vitamin C, zinc and any other supplement they have been recommending.

As the old saying goes, the cat is out of the bag now you have to deal with it.

Any way around it you need to be in isolation now for 10 days.

I'm so sorry that you have to through this. Let's hope for the best. :hugs

I'm a retired nurse, OJ. Please thank your dear daughter for me for her service during this pandemic. The courage and dedication of doctors and nurses during this time is truly humbling.

Merry Christmas to you and to her and all the nurses and doctors that she works with. Stay safe.
