Good morning everyone and a Very Merry Christmas to all.

5 degrees here today. Just rotten cold and no snow. If there was snow it would be easier to tolerate the cold.

I just took a big bowl of hot oatmeal out to the birds and hot water to melt the ice in their water holders. Both were a big hit. So funny to see them running around with oatmeal crusted beaks and hearing them singing that little contented sound they make when you give them something they really like to eat.

The cold weather is supposed to break over the weekend with a winter storm expected the middle of the week.

Hope you all have a great time today and if you are spending the holiday alone, know that we are all together in spirit.
