Ive never cleaned a quail, just chickens, ducks . Ducks are hard to do unless you skin them then all the fat is gone and thats what makes them tender.perhaps then you can show me how to do it without taking out the spine. LOL.

You have to stick a finger up them blind, and I don't like the thought of that. You can pluck them, and leave the skin on. Haven't done that way yet.and the skin is probably the best part. I imagine its hard to get the innards out w/o opening them.
