I have tried but I’m always the bad guy It will get brought up after months. Especially around other people. Anything to put on a show.

Sometimes silence is golden. I know with my family, trying to have a heart to heart with any of them was like .... setting myself up as the target in a firing squad. Again. I finally realized they didn't get it, they weren't gonna ever get it, because they didn't wanna get it. So who needs 'em anyway? I like that dragonfly meme. Flying with your own wings. No, I am a "strike-three" risk person. Over 65, Hispanic and diabetic. I do NOT want to risk getting this plague. Because I still have a child to raise, and he has NO ONE ELSE. I have to protect myself for his sake. I would take this shot if they told me there was a 30% chance my arm would fall off. Brave? No. Determined to take care of this kid, even if I have to do it in pieces. I trust the science. I believe the vaccines are safe. There is nothing to be afraid of. Except this damn Covid, which is currently killing A THOUSAND PEOPLE A DAY.
