They were about half dead.....I tried not to look...I tried to walk passed the cages really fast but I noticed out of the corner of my eye one that looked dead..so I told a lady..he I think you may have a dead chick in the bantam cage...She yells...WE GOTTA DEAD CHICK!!   I could have announced it to the store but I didn't think they would have wanted me to?!?!?
I watched her pick up the almost dead chick and lay him in the bowl of feed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I almost died...the other chicks started pecking at it.


I didn't really even pay attention to the colorings...

I already know my feed store smarties have no clue what the breeds are.
I have seen the boxes they arrive in...ALL always say mix breeds st run
Yet my feed store continues to post a list of certain breed on the cages that the chicks are in.

I think if that happened here I'd lose it and start screaming at them.

I think if that happened here I'd lose it and start screaming at them.

I tried to mention maybe adding some ACV to their water to see if it might clear up their pasty putts..
"We have tried that before!!!!!!!!" came out in an ugly tone..so I didn't waste my breath.
I can tell you that I will never buy a chick from them ever again though.
