Granny's gone and done it again

The only mask that helps is the 95. say right on the boxes they dont work against covid so why is everyone insisting?
Yes I can avoid that hill but if theres ice it aint gonna matter what road I am on. I will be scared now.
N95 is one of the best options BUT it has to be fit perfectly and worn very tightly to make a good seal, which most people can't manage. Nurses and medical staff are trained how, and still it can be hard to get it properly fitted.
Manufacturers don't want to be sued, so they put a disclaimer on the package... ALL of the masks have disclaimers. Total CYA. And it's true, none of them will provide 100% protection.

Surgical masks, like the ones I sent you, have 3 layers of material and are easy to wear. They are currently recommended by medical professionals.

How are you today ?
Same old, same old.
My Serama rooster got a spur ripped off yesterday. :( His spurs curl back around into his legs and I think he got one caught on the wire of the ground cage. Marks in the sand on the outside of the pen show that one of the big hens was there and probably attacking the poor guy. It's usually my buff Ameraucana that goes after him, but there is a legbar that has gone all hormonal lately and terrorizing others.

Anyway, he has a lot of pain, as you can imagine, but he and Fudge (with the prolapse) are outside together today and the little speckled hen stayed inside. Even with the prolapse, Fudge picks on her terribly. Speckle has been setting lately, like she is trying to lay, but nothing so far. I just heard her put up a huge fuss, so going to check for an egg and maybe she can go out also.

Be back soon
