My sister didnt want to wear a suit because she said she was "too skinny".   TV has done a # on our girls today. Everyone thinks we have to be models  and its just so dumb. Teach our girls to be strong independent women that can hold their own.  Thats something to look up to not a tight stomach .
And, Camp, thats what you should be teaching your DD. Not what you look like but how you carry yourself. 

I got called fat looking by a old guy at a goat show because I was wearing scrubs that were very loosed :/ mom was impressed I wasn't overly effected by it in public though I wanted to tell that perv to F off and die. Unfortunately at the time we were still stilling with his wife -.-

lol I was the only girl not in skin tight jeans that looked painted on at the show that day hence why the comment.

I have a swim suit I like but I can't swim, never learned

I know it is because I have been there. with age comes wisdom . Or so they claim. LOL None of those worries were worth a thing. Except for passing my worries on to my DD . She now hates her body but boy her DH sure dont and I bet yours dont either. You just dont want this for her. She will struggle too. Enjoy life , stop worrying and it will come to you. You wont have to force yourself to change. It will just happen when you let that worry go .

In jr high I wore lots of big jackets, several sizes too big... They were like hoodies but made out of nylon rain poncho material. I didn't like my body and they his everything! Anyway, at a ball game this mom called me over and was talking to me, and suddenly she grabbed the edges of the jacket and wrapped them behind me. She looked so shocked and disappointed. She said "oh! You're so skinny!"

I was very embarrassed and told my mom. She said everyone thought I was pregnant, because of my big clothes.

Then you have kinder parents then I did. I got thrown in. learned how to dog paddle real quick.

I love the water! Loved snorkeling in Cozumel. As a kid we had an above ground pool, and I could float around out there for hours. I was never good at the structured technical swimming, but I was practically a mermaid out there.

I love big clothes just because they are comfortable. LOL The bigger my t shirt the better I like it.
