do you eat KFC now ? Sounds more like something in the water to me.

Had it a few times, but not any more. No more hives, but other undesirable digestive disturbances. Not good.

We had well water. Wasn't anything in it except water and lots of iron.

Yeah, ours got a little skunky sometimes. It built up in the hot water heater, so the first few minutes of a shower were PU. Drinking from the hose outside was fine.

once place I lived had a well with a bucket you had to throw down there. Then carry it to the house. It was a pita

The original well on the farm was like that, hand dug and lined with brick. Wasn't very deep. Fortunately big improvements were made before my family moved in, and then dad modernized it even more. We got a water softener! Good ol Sears. Miss that store.

Montgomery wards too ! I liked that store. They owe me $50.00 on a chair I bought from them !

We didn't have Wards here. Did they go out of business? I think there is one Sears store still open, couple hours away.

the water here always tastes like led during the winter, wonder what it is about winter.

spoiled, I only like my water filtered.
