I went to the swap today. Sold 3 large roosters, and bought a pair of Porcelain Milles. It went a long way on helping to empty out the Turkey coop.

Guess I can tell you a story of yesteryear. I was out with my father and I was about 9 yrs old. His brother owned a gas station and we stopped there to say hi. He was mad ! He said there was a stray dog that had been running around the gas pumps all day driving him nuts. He told dad the next time it came around he was going to shove the gas nozzle up his rear. Well, the dog comes around again barking and raising cain so my uncle grabbed him and filled his butt full of gas. He let go and the dog started flying in circles around the pumps faster and faster til it suddenly just stopped and keeled over. Being an animal lover I was horrified ! I asked my dad, It died??? He said naww it ran out of gas.

My dad told that one back in the 50's.

I think most the young generation just don't dig us old Dodgers. Complete different wave length. Not saying all of them but most.

I jumped off a bridge into a dry creek bed. Started off crawling home but before I made it there I was dragging myself by my arms. I was far from home too. I was flat on my back for a solid month . Had to be put on a bedpan. I was probably around 12 or so.

Oh golly... that made my toes clench.

I listen to my older grandkids talking to each other and it's like they're speaking in another language. Not French or Spanish or something but more like Martian.
