Granny's gone and done it again

Was a good day, Granny. Did I tell you GirlChild took off for PNW the other day to visit her sister? Alone? She was supposed to have a traveling companion to share driving and expenses, but at last minute, she backed out. So I have been following this excursion virtually and it has aged me a bit. But she arrived safely this afternoon and I'm so happy I could puke!

It took her two days and most of a third. She spent two nights in motels and ran out of money. She was convinced one night in a motel would do it and didn't listen when we told her it wouldn't.

My dad told me he'd fix that, and hang my curtian rod today. He didn't do either. I asked him a few times in case he forget. He didn't forget. Just didn't wanna.

Two days plus. Over 2,000 miles.
