Granny's gone and done it again

Long day. I got a couple things done. The ditches are flooding . We have possible tornados tonight . Looks bad. Back yard is all mud. dogs go out, dogs need bath. Pup want to go out every 5 min. because he likes the mud and enjoys the baths.
Thunder shook the house so bad it knocked my thermometers off the shelves they were sitting on in the bator. Was like an earthquake. I put a different back ground on the new fish tank and I dont like it either. Did I tell ya'll I put a different tank up ? 20 gal long. I got the fish in it today. they look lost. Went to town with Robert and had an "almost"flat. My fix a flat was no good. bought a new can and putting it in right at the store. The lady that works there was outside smoking not 10 ft. from us. The dang thing blew. Got Robert and me. She goes back in the store . I follow with the can. She says, we dont have a return policy on that kind of stuff so I dont kno what to do.. I said I do. I went and picked up a different can, showed it to her and said "we good ?" and I walked out. We must be good as I havent heard anything else.

Boiled 40 eggs for the chickens and fed them, Helped Robert cook Helped CB feed and then helped myself to my chair.

Today is Mares Birthday. Probably wont see her as her DD is in town.

JR. laid an egg today. CB found it on the floor and because it was so spotted he thought it was very dirty and he threw it.

I thought it was very pretty as it went zooming by. LOL

have you seen the yak soap they make with yak hair/wool included in it. Supposed to gently scrub while using it. like a looufa
yuck! I have enough trouble keeping my own hair from going down the drain. Don't need yak hair clogging the septic!

4-H is a really good program for kids of all ages. It not only teaches responsibility, but a lot of other skills and you make really good friends even if you live in different school districts.

That's weird....the poultry program at our fair is huge and we have so many different classes that range from meat ducks to show peafowl to all different kinds of egglayers and fancy bantams!
Do you have different classs for the other livestock? We have tons of chicken classes along with a lot of different goat classes and tons of different cattle/swine/lamb/horse stuff too. Our fair is really big though, so it makes sense.

you would think that since I live in a HUGE city our fairs would have a variety of chicken "shows"...nope just meat birds.
And my little can't join til he is official in the 3rd grade...a few years from now...argh...and then...Im not even sure he will be able to show meat birds at that age...
I have him in Cub Scouts right now...we love it!

3rd grade or 8 years old whichever comes first. Why wouldn't he be able to show meat birds in 3rd grade?
