Everybody seemed okay, then each of these chicks just faded really fast, one a day for three days. They were all Black Australorp males. They seemed fine in the morning. Then kind of hunched and lethargic around noon, and toes up by dinner time. Not pasty butt. I gave electrolytes in the water every other day, cleaned the brooder daily, had a light above half of the brooder so they could pick their temp zone ... everyond else thrived brilliantly.

do you put a little ACV in the water for the first week or so ?? But NOT in a galvanized waterer.

I'm very annoyed with my mom.

She's making me stay up late to do her laundry which she deemed "priority" and then let my sister wash clothes before me... Now it will be about 12am before I can go to bed.

This is why I hate leaving the house, because its always a MESS for us to leave. We've been planning this for weeks, is it that hard to do your laundry?

and for peets sake, why can't my parents do their own laundry? I can't remember the last time my parents even went into the laundry room. They make us do EVERYTHING for them. They even make us to their chores on the chore chart? say its our mess? but its mostly not. you should see their rooom.

Are you having a lot of pain Twist? It will be easier to sleep in your boot maybe. Depends if you toss and turn or the dog decides to step on it. How was Yuri?

Absolutely not. IMO, ACV is a cleaning agent, nothing more. Oh. Maybe voodoo juice. I don't use it. Nasty, stinky stuff. Window washer.

not much pain. Yuri was a mixed bag

His ear's a spotless, the infection in the foot/pad is gone. BUT the mineral cyst is still there. There are a couple options but she suggested and I agree to just keep an eye on it and re-treat with antibiotics as needed.
