Granny's gone and done it again

Oh yes, lots of obedience. I've dropped all new tricks and agility for the past several months to focus souly on obedience. He could probably trial in an obedience competiiton and win the whole damn thing if he wasn't so focused on eating other dogs.

No, hes been fixed since 8 weeks old.

I need a real trainer, LOL
Can't attack if he's holding a Down-stay.

Well...honestly I dont know what I "should" do. But because it only happened once (its a long story) and she tried to bite the dog that scared her, I pick her up.
don't pick her up. That is one issue.

Walk really fast past the dog, usually keeps their focus on walking fast, not watching the dog.

These days I ask for a focused heel past dogs. As long as the dog isn't barking/growling/lundging, you'd never guess deacon had aggression issues. He's an angel when there is no reaction from the other dog.

No, he cant. My goal would be to walk past another dog without him trying to break his heel and sink his teeth into another dog. Our current tactic is down stay or sit stay right next to me, and I ask the person to go ahead of us. That is if the other dog is being reactive. He will walk past a non reactive dog with no issues at all.

I haven't taught her to heel yet, definitely planning to do so. But the park is an off leash park. Do you recommend to leash her? She also tried to bite the other dog...

he wont enter the weave poles without me no futher than three poles down. I'm trying to get him to do the weaves without me right next to him. he's really good at distant jumps
I just follow him through first, then pretend to be following him, but take a fake step. Tricks his mind into thinking I'm with him. :)
Don't know if it will work for all dogs, though.

If you must pick her up to protect her, then you must. But realize that picking her up is, in her mind, a reward. So only do it to save her life. If she's the aggressor, try not to. Instead (she's on leash, right?), walk sharply or run AWAY from the other dog. Let the leash snap her sharply toward you. She'll get a correction but she won't die. It will focus her attention on you.

Not on a leash...would you recommend to?
