Granny's gone and done it again

If you must pick her up to protect her, then you must. But realize that picking her up is, in her mind, a reward. So only do it to save her life. If she's the aggressor, try not to. Instead (she's on leash, right?), walk sharply or run AWAY from the other dog. Let the leash snap her sharply toward you. She'll get a correction but she won't die. It will focus her attention on you.
If she's that reactive, she probably shouldn't be at a dog park where dogs are supposed to be off leash. Trains?
 
I haven't taught her to heel yet, definitely planning to do so. But the park is an off leash park. Do you recommend to leash her? She also tried to bite the other dog...
I wouldn't recommend bringing any dog that tried to bite another dog, fear or not, to a dog park. I hate dog parks with a passion
