We're getting a break in the stifling heat. Under 70 this am, hubby had the windows open.

cooler here too. I should be mowing but Im so stiff I can barely walk.

Jane, I wish I had your energy. I would love to raise my own food. More then just tomatoes. Im getting enough of them to almost can but not quite. I could freeze some maybe. Never thought of that.

Most days I have to force my self outta the bed, I'm so stiff &ake myself go outside, but I feel better as I work

88 * here at 10:30, 67% humidity, caught up in the garden, always weeds to pull, been pork rows of peas are blooming

Talked to a neighbor this am, gonna buy bar rock pullets 4 month olds & a roo from him
