I washed 6 chickens today, the most well behaved was a rooster! Didn't fight it at all. Trimmed toenails too.
I am supposed to go meet a guy who wants to buy these 6.
Cleaned out and sprayed a brooder. And cut some pieces for a nest box.

True this! I have been swearing NO MORE SHELTIES! At least six Shelties ago, lol.

They are beautiful! Worth the effort.

At this point, I wouldn't trade Scooter for anything. He is a happy, lovely little guy... a great companion.
I would, however, trade my back. It is a cranky complaining character... a real downer.

No one is moving just yet. Even the chickens are quiet. Overcast and cool, but supposed to hit 91. Booooo
Doing a grocery run early before it gets hot.

Hope you guys are feeling better.

If that chicken is still frozen, try the water method. Use one of those styrofoam coolers the meals come in (it will free up your sink). Leave chicken in the bag in the cooler and fill with cold water. Prod it once in a while to see when it's thawed.
