Granny's gone and done it again

I worked with these people when I lived in detroit. We planted trees all down the road and painted viaducts. I also helped with the sensory garden and a food plot with apple trees and herbs on empty lots. Then the whole street helped with it as well. They did maintenance on the lot. I super enjoyed myself then.

Sounds like lots of fun. And it’s for FREE! I’d like to live there.

Detroit is a bad place to live. Maybe some day you can start a program like that on your own. or maybe they already have such a thing there?

Not wanting to go outside. So sick of heat and humidity. I should finish cleaning out the coop that has no chickens in it. My friend that is supposed to buy them is having too busy at work to meet me today. Sigh. Now I need to figure out where to put them.

My shoulders have been very sore & I couldn't figure out why, when I started cutting corn today I figured it out, I've cut off about 50 ears over the last 3 days, neck hurts too now. Started a canner of soup this am & heard a noise, cut off the canner & 3 jars were broken, I think it's my flat top stove that did it, I have a rack under it now& am processing the remaining 3 jars of soup, 2 pints of peas & 2 pints of succotash. 6 more quarts waiting to be processed. I don't like canning in the late afternoon, hope I don't forget to do something..
