2 weeks from today is Thanksgiving. I hope I have energy to cook. Anyone know a good brand of pies?

I do not know about pies, BUT I am still planning to make your chicken and dumplings for Thanksgiving. We "may" cull our very first rooster near Thanksgiving, so he may become a meal. It is still a big IF right now though, because I still think he is really handsome even though he is mean. Either way, your recipe sounds too good to miss!

its also been trying to snow all day. The wind has died down some had gust up to 45 mph earlier.

I like snow, but that is because I grew up in an area that rarely snows, when we do get snow, it is only a sight, because it never snowed on our house before (for everywhere I have lived) and it only lasts one day.
