As far as my reaction to the covid booster, the Moderna vaccination only resulted in tenderness at the injection site. Hubby had Pfizer booster and ran a temperature and felt sick.

Tomorrow i plan to go to Emerald Hollow Mine in Hiddenite, NC. Very excited to try real mining for the first time. I bought a new wagon and hubby assembled it for me. Tonight i plan to collect the tools and other equipment to use while mining. Going to be interesting!

Duh. I was going to ask mining for what. Then I read your post again. Emerald Hollow Mine means you're probably not going to be mining for opals!

We had moderna, dh ran a fever & was sick for 1&1/2 days, my shoulder was so sore I couldn't sleep.

Xrays Tuesday on my shoulder, hip & lower back have made me so sore I haven't slept for 2 nights & hurt too bad to walk to the garden, I'm gonna pick greens in the am & check on green pea seed germination. Haven't told it on here but my 63 yo sister died 4 weeks ago today, I couldn't write it down til now, she had elective surgery to fix the valve between the stomach & esophagus, her intestines was nicked & she became septic & died 3 days later, I have sat here & remembered all the good times we had growing up & cried my eyes out.

All my Christmas presents I ordered have arrived on time, thankfully, just have 4 things to get at fabric store & walmart. DHS bday is tomorrow, I have him a new office chair for bday + anniversary.
